2020 REFLECTIONS PT 4
This is it! The LAST FEW MOMENTS of the year. With this time dwindling fast I dare to ask you all; HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SPEND IT? Wishing it would go by faster? OR Taking time to gain some new perspectives about what the past 361 days have brought you? With this said I’m am not saying that my way is the best or right way. For YOU reflecting could have differing effects. BUT one thing I do know is that SHOVING OFF THIS YEAR like the rest of the problems you don’t want to deal with IS NOT GOING TO MAKE IT JUST GO AWAY. THE ACHE WILL STILL BE THERE AND WORK WILL STILL NEED TO BE DONE. Whether you acknowledge it or not is completely up to you. But with exactly 4 days left of the year I want to continue choosing JOY and finish my reflection of this year. So the list goes on of the things I’m thankful happened this year;
.
16) The BLM Movement and all of the affected communities who opened my eyes to Racial Injustice. As we as inspired me to continue learning and advocating for those in need in my community, even when it wasn’t present in my feed on social media.
17) The ability to have CONSISTENT CONNECTION with those I love, even when we couldn’t be together. I.E the many ways I could stay in contact with them, like letters, calls, texts, social media and the many options of video chat.
18) Anniversary Trip to Petoskey with @coenen.josh ! I’m so thankful for this short period of time to celebrate the most wonderful relationship he and I share. I couldn’t ask for a more healthy, happy and supportive partner.
19) More TIME TO COOK at home, this truly gave me the chance to work on something I’ve always loved. And expanding my recipe base has really leveled up my weekly meal prep!
20) @bisous_goods photoshoot with the most lovely ladies! Not only was this shoot fun and a great confidence boost for me, it was great to meet so many lovely ladies and support a local female business owner too!
.
So Here’s to looking at you 2020, May we continue be thankful for what you brought us, to learn from what you opened our eyes to and most importantly keep our gaze toward the light that is always present in our lives ✨
