2020 REFLECTIONS PT 3
There ONLY 4 DAYS until Christmas SAY WHAT? I am convinced this year is not just strolling on by now but making a hard and fast sprint toward the finish line now! And though parts of me want to cheer it on to keep running as fast as I it can. I’ve been taking time these past 3 weeks to slow it down and take time to be grateful. An unpopular opinion I know. But I believe it’s an important thing to practice my attitude of gratitude, so continuing my list from last few weeks of posts here are 5 more things I’m thankful happened this year:

11) Competing in @freshcoastfitfest with @lj_hetrick and @channosaurus_rex , I.E my very first CrossFit Comp! Which contained lots of fun challenges, food, and memories.
12) Deepening my friendship with @em.steffen during her biweekly visits to GR and my visits to Detroit to support her coffee shop and get tattoos together.
13) Exploring new parks in & around GR by way of hiking with @coenen.josh
14) Having the time to read ALL 3 of @rupikaur_ amazing pieces or writing in a few short months.
15) Incorporating more long walk into my daily movement routine! Without this I would not have know the beautiful neighborhoods of East and Southeast GR, not gotten to learn from some amazing podcasters and most of all I would have not been able to have long, deep conversations with those I love.

Remember friends the point in reflecting this way is not a highlight reel of just the things we want people to see but to look at ALL the ways 2020 taught and helped us grow 🌱What things are you THANKFUL happened this year? Let me know in the comments below!
